Legal Experience
In representing his clients, Mr. Wagner has helped many to recover substantial verdicts, including multi-million dollar awards. Moreover, while aggressively litigating his cases, Mr. Wagner seeks ways to use alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, to find the best solution for his clients. As a result, he has helped his clients recover substantial sums through settlement, including seven figure settlements.
Before practicing in California, he practiced in Arizona, where he is still actively licensed and continues to practice. His experience includes practice in state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies, such as the E.E.O.C. Moreover, Mr. Wagner has acted as the lead attorney in numerous trials, arbitrations and mediations.
Mr. Wagner is committed to handling employment matters involving racial, sexual, gender, disability, pregnancy, and other types of discrimination and harassment, as well disputes involving wage and hour claims, family and medical leave, and all other types of wrongful termination and employment disputes.
In addition to handling employment matters, Mr. Wagner has extensive experience in business matters. He handles complex cases involving breach of contract, fraud, interference with contractual relationships and prospective economic advantage, partnership disputes, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair trade, defamation, negligent misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty, and various other claims. Mr. Wagner also has extensive experience in general business consulting. Finally, Mr. Wagner has experience in personal injury and wrongful death claims, as well as complex product-defect claims.
Before practicing law, Mr. Wagner worked on Wall Street, including a stint at Goldman Sachs. He also held his Series 7 and 66 licenses. Mr. Wagner is a licensed Real Estate Broker and can help with the purchase/sale of properties. (BRE NO. 01954786)

Mr. Wagner is a member of the State Bar of California and the State Bar of Arizona. He is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, United States District Court, District of Northern California, the United States District Court, District of Central California, and the United States District Court, District of Arizona. Additionally, Mr. Wagner is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Santa Monica Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and California Employment Lawyers Association.
In 2014, Mr. Wagner was recognized by Pasadena Magazine for “Top Attorneys.” In 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017, Mr. Wagner was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers–Rising Stars Edition, an honor limited to only 2.5 % of the attorneys within California. Moreover, in 2015, 2016, and 2017, he was selected in the Top 100 of the Rising Stars. In 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024, Mr. Wagner was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers. Mr. Wagner is rated AV Preeminent, the highest possible Peer-Review Rating by Martindale-Hubble. This is a recognition for Ethical Standards and Legal Ability.
Education
Mr. Wagner graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law, in two and a half years. He was Order of the Coif and a member of the San Diego Law Review. Mr. Wagner received his undergraduate business degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He majored in Finance, Management, and History.
Personal
Mr. Wagner grew up in New York and is an avid fan of the New York Giants, Mets, and Rangers. He loves watching all professional sports and enjoys playing both team and individual sports such as tennis, golf, and softball. He enjoys movies, music, traveling, and is currently brushing up on his Spanish.
